It’s weird how you can so easily reconnect with someone from the past
I had a really great best friend back in 5th and 6th grade. She was wonderful. One of the realest people I have met. We didn’t last that long though. Once we got to middle school, we started to slowly drift apart because we never had any classes and we started meeting new friends. It was a bit awkward seeing each other in the halls, and we’ve hardly even talked since middle school.
But lately, she became really good friends with my current best friend so I’ve been seeing her a bit more. Today the three of us got together to study for our precalc finals and it was one of the most fun I’ve had. It didn’t feel awkward at all, and it felt like we never even had a gap between us. I’m not sure if we’re going to stay like this, but today was just one of those feel good days. I really enjoyed today, and I wish I’ll have more days like this.
